Here’s a great opportunity for new librarians, and a refresher for the not so new. The LOC is offering a FREE webinar on the resources and services it offers.

The Library of Congress has more than 158 million items—including books, recordings, photographs, maps, sheet music, manuscripts—in its collections in over 470 languages.  Through its Web site, it provides access to resources, services, and over eleven million of its multimedia primary sources.

The orientation webinar provides an overview of what’s available, provides strategies for accessing the materials, and introduces you to the resources created by staff to further your research into the Library’s collections.
