Please provide a brief narrative explaining what the grant was used for and its outcomes.
The grant was used to purchase manipulative materials related to the solar system to demonstrate the movement of the planets, sun, and moon. Students were able to use ‘blow-up’ planets to act out the solar system and to see the role of the sun. We also purchased books that were read and books of resources to be used for instruction. The students were motivated by the opportunity for hands-on experience.
