Congratulations and happy birthday to Middleville Free Library on turning 100 years old. The library is part of the Mid-York Library System.
Back in 1915, the library opened its doors with a little over 300 books. Today there are over 10,000.
And the library keeps growing!
Congressman Richard Hanna (pictured with the library’s Board President, Barbara Miller) stopped by the festivities on June 6th to extend well wishes and show his support for this community gem.
And last night, the Herkimer County Legislature proclaimed June 18, 2015 – Middleville Library Day!
Congratulations to library director Sandi Zaffarano and her staff.
