CLRC is chartering a bus to take library supporters and friends to Albany for the New York Library Association’s (NYLA) Library Advocacy Day. Download the NYLA Legislative Priorities and join the rally.
CLRC is also scheduling appointments that day with regional Assemblymembers and Senators. We’ll be discussing the impact libraries have on our communities and asking for increased funding. Check out the list of CNY legislators.
Tentative schedule:
6:00 am Bus leaves CLRC*
9:00 am to noon Morning appointments with legislators
Noon Rally
1:00 to 3:00 pm Afternoon appointments with legislators
3:30 pm Head home
*Pickup locations will be at the CLRC office on Ridings Road in Syracuse and the North Utica Shopping Plaza in Utica (located at 50 Auert Avenue). Additional stops along the New York State Thruway at the Herkimer and Little Falls Commuter Park & Ride will be added if needed.
