Please provide a brief narrative explaining what the grant was used for and its outcomes.
The grant was used to purchase 100 solar eclipse glasses for SUNY Upstate staff, faculty, and students. We advertised the glasses through our social media platforms and through flyers placed around the university and adjoining hospital. We provided the glasses through a pick up only program and also provided the library patrons with informational sheets on how to properly use the glasses and how to safely view the eclipse. The glasses were gone within a single morning and is considered a huge success!
