It’s not too late! If you were thinking of applying for one of CLRC’s member library RBDB grants and didn’t quite get around to it, now is the time. Applications for funding under this program will be accepted until 5:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2015.
These are typically smaller grants of less than $10,000, for projects in one of three areas: Retrospective conversion, digitization, or metadata. The key criterion is that the project have broad appeal throughout the Central NY region. This is a good opportunity to digitize a collection of local historical materials to make them accessible via the web, to digitize local historical newspapers and add them to New York State Historical Newspapers, or to catalog a collection that isn’t yet in WorldCat. The application process is very simple, with only a brief narrative needed. Please refer to the CLRC website at https://rbshost.com/CLRC1/grants-sponsored-programs/rbdb/ for further information.
Any questions about potential projects or the application process may be directed to Debby Emerson at demerson@clrc.org.
CLRC looks forward to receiving your applications.
