This is a reminder to register your organization for iConnect, a chance to meet and talk with current LIS students at Syracuse University. Please feel free to share this invitation with other people in your organization if you can’t personally make it.
The idea of bringing current students together with local professionals came directly from students in the Library & Information Science Student Assembly (LISSA). While iConnect will be set-up similarly to a career fair, you do not necessarily need to have an open position in order to attend but we will happily promote them if you do. This is more of an opportunity for you to share the mission of your organization, what your current projects entail, and promote ways students can engage with you now or in the future.
iConnect will be held on Wednesday, October 14th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Hinds Hall, the home of the iSchool. There are 66 on-campus LIS students and our goal is to ensure they have a better sense of the organizations in their backyard by hearing directly from you.
