CDLC Webinar: Introduction to Restorative Justice Practices

This event will introduce restorative justice practices: what they are, where they come from, and how they can be utilized to foster safe and constructive community building, conversation, and conflict resolution. Participants will gain a basic understanding of restorative justice and several resources to explore the topic further.

Ade Byron is a dedicated DEI and Restorative Justice Practitioner, currently serving as Program Manager in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Empire State University. With an extensive background in conflict resolution and mediation, Ade specializes in restorative justice and holds a BA in Restorative Justice and Conflict Resolution from Bennington College. Their previous work has explored the intersections of art, communication, healing, and conflict resolution, rooted in the fundamental human need for community.
