Please provide a brief narrative explaining what the grant was used for and its outcomes.
We used the grant to expand activities held during our Eclipse Party at the library. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, people enjoyed coming together to view the sun through the SunOculars, one of the items purchased with the grant funds. Because we had 8 of them, people didn’t have to wait to use them. Making the commemorative bookmarks was a fun activity for all ages, especially as the vinyl sleeves and decorative tassels made them special – better than your ordinary bookmark. And finally, the visors were a huge hit. People enjoyed decorating and wearing them — and the staff kept theirs to reuse at other library events. Thank you for enhancing our program and making us look good in our community!
