Library Advocacy Day in Albany – February 27

Speak out for library funding

CLRC is chartering a bus to Albany with multiple pick-up locations along the Thruway and has scheduled appointments with regional Assemblymembers and Senators.

Schedule: (subject to change)
* 6:30 am – leave CLRC office

* 7:20 – pickup at North Utica Shopping Center on Auert Ave

* 7:40 – Pickup at Herkimer Thruway Exit Park and Ride

* 7:50 – Pickup at Little Falls Thruway Exit Park and Ride

* 9:10 – Arrive at State Capitol

* Morning appointments with legislators
9:30 – Senator Antonacci and Assemblymember Blankenbush
10:00 – Assemblymembers Salka and Stirpe
10:30 – Assemblymembers Buttenschon and Hunter
11:00 – Senator Tedisco and Assemblymember Magnarelli
11:30 – Senator Griffo and Assemblymembers Miller and Finch

* 12:00 pm – NYLA rally and lunch on your own

* Afternoon appointments with legislators
1:00 – Senator Seward and Assemblymember Smullen
1:30 – Assemblymember Barclay
2:00 – Senator May

* 3:00 pm – leave Albany

* 5:30 – arrive back at CLRC office

Cost for bus riders:
$15 for advocates
$10 for students
Snacks and water bottles will be served on the bus.
