LILRC Webinar: Supporting Children’s Mental Wellbeing with Just-Right Reads

May 20 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Books are one of the most ubiquitous, accessible, and powerful resources available to support children’s mental wellbeing. In this session, we will share information and strategies from our edited volume Using Literature to Support Children’s Mental Health, which explores the intersections and interplay between mental health topics and picture books, chapter books, and graphic novels targeted at children ages birth to twelve. Topics will include grief and loss, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism, and more.
