On Friday, June 7, the 55th Annual New York Archives Conference will bring together archivists, manuscript curators, local historians, local government record keepers, and other archives enthusiasts to discuss topics of interest to the stewards of historical records—live online! The full day program for NYAC 2024 incorporates sessions on a variety of topics, including “Converting legacy finding aids through Empire ADC,” “Working with Undergraduates to Diversify Collections,” and “Implementing Digital Preservation at a Small Institution.”
This year, the NYAC Board is excited to announce a new pilot project to bring NYAC members together during the virtual conference: NYAC Watch Parties! The Regional Connections Committee is pleased to provide seven dedicated Watch Party locations where you can view the conference with others from your area, including time for networking and discussion.
Registration for a Watch Party includes access to the conference; no separate registration is required. All Watch Party registrants will receive links to conference recordings via email.
We’ll be hosting a watch party at the CLRC office!
