SCRLC Lunch & Learn: Fall Vaccine Update – Covid and Flu

Join Rachel Buckwalter, Director of Community Health at Tompkins County Whole Health, for a program focusing on the latest covid and flu vaccines. Learning outcomes:

• Participants will learn the importance of receiving an annual flu shot and the updated Covid vaccine to prevent disease
• Participants will learn about the composition of both vaccines which have been updated to provide protection against virus strains that are currently circulating
• Participants will be able to state the recommended time to receive these vaccines for maximum protection
• There will be time for a Q&A about other vaccines available
