Webinar: After Emergency Response Mode – Approaching Virtual Storytimes with Intention

Webinar Description:
Many libraries closed physical buildings to the public in March, but nothing stops storytime! Library staff rushed to adapt this essential routine and keep families connected to stories, songs and community. In this webinar, we will embrace the power of the pause to reflect and dive deep into our new virtual storytime normal.
About the Presenter:
Jessica Fredrickson is a former teacher turned Youth Services Librarian. In 2020, she served as a Project Coordinator for the ALSC Virtual Storytime Services Guide and as the Training and Advocacy Chair of Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy (CLEL). Professionally, Jessica is known for advocating for accessibility and giving storytime flannels early math makeovers. Her favorite things include tea, mountain hikes and middle grade fiction.
Live captioning will be provided by Rev.com.
This webinar will be recorded and a recording will be shared with all registrants afterward.
