WNYLRC Virtual Happy Hour: Daredevils of Niagara Falls

Join us as we listen to Joel Dombrowski, once a tour guide for Nik Wallenda, tell the stories of the men and women who challenged the mighty Niagara. Learn about how tragedy has flowed like a dark undercurrent over the Falls.
This is intended to be a fun, socializing virtual event. Prep a cocktail or a mocktail, kick back, and listen! Participants will be free to ask questions.
Registrants will be emailed the Zoom link one day prior to the event. This session will not be recorded.
About the Presenter:
Joel Dombrowski is a Buffalo native who enjoys telling the often overlooked stories of Western New York. He began telling stories after graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. After working in local TV news he briefly left for Los Angeles where he wrote and produced a pilot for television. Returning home he turned his interest in local history and stand up comedy into a career. He owns Buffalo Double Decker Bus and Buffalo History Tours, operations which blend humor, history and passionate story telling.
Joel’s guide book on Niagara Falls is Amazon’s #1 best seller for its category and his presentation will focus on some of the unknown stories of Niagara Falls and the daredevils who’ve challenged Niagara.
