Lead From Where You Are
RRLC is pleased to announce our newest Leadership Institute beginning in June.
This institute focuses on a personal approach to leadership – determining your personal leadership style and cultivating the leader inside you. This is targeted to emerging leaders, but is also appropriate for current leaders. This program is open to RRLC and NY3Rs members. Many emerging leaders and even well-established leaders don’t always feel like a leader on the inside. True leaders are able to harvest others’ potential and mobilize people to action. True leaders are emotionally intelligent, and are compelling speakers, able to paint vivid pictures and use stories to inspire change. This program is about defining, integrating, and articulating your personal leadership style – the quality of your inner leader is reflected in the quality of your impact. We will accomplish this by addressing 5 elements:
Shape – Explore, define and articulate your inner leader (6/24/2015)
Serve – Build emotional intelligence and explore its relevance to leadership (7/29/2015)
Style – Assess your communication style, create rapport, and engage your audience (8/26/2015)
Speak – Strengthen your speaking skills and ability to paint vivid, compelling pictures (9/30/2015)
Shine – Integrate all elements in a presentation that articulates your leadership philosophy and style (10/28/2015)
Instructor: Lauren Burnett. Lauren has more than 25 years of extensive experience in helping leaders, organizations, teams and individuals achieve professional and personal success and fulfillment. She is principal of the Center for Inner Quality, a Cleveland-based training, coaching and consulting organization with national presence.
