Who doesn’t like a discount? NY3Rs is now offering a reduced price for Kanopy Video Streaming.
But, there are some conditions…new libraries who wish to join under the NY3Rs program must provide a maximum budget dollar to keep on account at Kanopy or set up a budget cap as a commitment for a “pay as you go” model with quarterly invoices. A range between $2,000 to $3,000 for smaller libraries is a good starting figure and $5,000 to $10,000 for larger libraries depending on the needs of each organization and the scope of content a library hopes to license. The NY3Rs and Kanopy will share group usage reports and insights amongst participating members to monitor cross library usage and revisit the program.
What’s the discount? NY3Rs members will receive a special 10% discount off individual titles. In addition, any library can opt to include the “Full MEF collection” as an add-on to their individual program to include all 145 films from MEF. There is a special 35% introductory discount off the full collection to all members, bringing the collection to a $4,200 annual subscription fee.
