CLRC affiliate, The William G. Pomeroy Foundation, is offering 10 competitive need-based scholarships of $1,000 each. (Need-based is defined as having an annual budget of $50,000 or less)
Historical societies in New York State may use the monies for professional development purposes:
* Membership in MANY if not already a member.
* Registration to attend MANY Conference if not attended in the past two years.
* Membership to join NYCON if not already a member.
* One other professional development opportunity of your choice.
Applications must be postmarked by February 20th. Awards will be announced by March 15th.
Organizations may receive one grant per calendar year and a final report on your professional development experience is due to the Foundation by the end of that calendar year.
