‘R.I.P.D.’ filming in Raynham, MA for the next two weeks

Though Ryan Reynolds has been spotted filming scenes for R.I.P.D. in downtown Boston this week, a second crew for the movie has also started filming in Rayham.

According to the Patriot Ledger, Filming for the movie began Tuesday at Raynham Park, though none of the principal actors were expected on set this week.

The crew will be filming a car chase scene at the former dog track along Route 138.

As we’ve reported, Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges star in the movie as undead police officers who work for the Rest In Peace Department. Kevin Bacon has also stars.

Filming is expected to last for roughly two weeks in Raynham. Workers have already been at the site for more than three weeks erecting three-story-high walls that serve as green screens to depict a cityscape and a villain throwing vehicles at a fleeing car in the scene.

Bridges and Bacon will be on hand at some point in Rayham, presumably next week, before filming wraps up at the location.
