Thanks to one of our tipsters, @jennifer_celia, we’ve found the first filming location for the highly anticipated movie, Kill Your Darlings.
No Parking signs for filming on Monday, March 19, 2012 are posted all around W 3rd/Bleecker and Sullivan/Thompson in NYC. Though the project name on the signs is simply listedas KYD, we know that it must be for Kill Your Darlings, which was slate to begin filming in “mid-March”.
The thriller focuses on the relationships between Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and Lucien Carr which eventually ends up with them caught up in murder.
Daniel Radcliffe will play Ginsberg, Elizabeth Olsen will play Edie Parker, the wealthy art-student girlfriend of Jack Kerouac, and Jack Huston will play Kerouac. Dane Dehaan rounds out the cast as Carr, a key member of the Beat Generation in the 1940′s.
Michael C. Hall, Ben Foster, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Kyra Sedgwick will co-star.

UPDATE: Just learned they are filming on 25th, around 8th Ave, in NYC today (March 15) too!
Thanks for the location update. I hope the cab drivers read this. NYC traffic is rough enough on them without batteling tons of fans out to watch Daniel at work

Today 3/26, KYD was filming on Lenox and 123rd.
