Thanks to one of our readers, RL, we have a few new photos of The Newsroom filming in Manhattan over the weekend. The new HBO series is from Aaron Sorkin, who created The West Wing and wrote The Social Network and Moneyball. The show is a fictional behind-the-scenes look at the people who make a nightly cable-news program.
Emily Mortimer, Hope Davis, and Sam Waterston were among the actors who participated in this weekend’s shoot. The show has spent about two weeks total filming in NYC, while the majority of the shoot has taken place in L.A.
