Iron Man 3 will once again be on location next week.
The movie is set to film on Tuesday July 17 and Wednesday July 18, from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, on the Cape Fear River, between Brunswick and Cowan St in Wilmington, N.C.
The scene will, obviously, involve water activity, as well as nearly 60 extras and 3 main cast members.
When they are not filming on location, IM3 is filming at Wilmington’s EUE/Screen Gems Studio.

oh I’m gonna be there for sure I run along the boardwalk up that way all the time, which I’m gonna assume they’ll block but if they are on the water it will be very hard to block everything, Jesus I hope it’s some kind of lead in to an action scene, could be a cruising scene with Tony (RDJ) on a yacht, there are some monster yachts always parked near there
That’s awesome to hear! I’m gonna be in Wilmington next week, and I really wanted to go check out the filming in Cary but wasn’t able to make it. I’m excited it’s going to be an outdoor scene, I really hope I’ll be able to see some filming… Iron Man is def. my favorite superhero, should be exciting!
