‘Parks and Recreation’ filming locations in Washington, D.C. on July 19 & 20, 2012

Parks and Recreation is set to shoot scenes for its season 5 premiere in Washington D.C. The show, which is primarily filmed in Los Angeles, will presumably be shooting scenes with Adam Scott, whose character moved to D.C. in the show’s season 4 finale.

Filming will take place on Thursday, 7/19 and Friday, 7/20, at various D.C. landmarks including the National Mall, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Newseum.

Below are a few more details about where they’ll be filming and when:

On Pennsylvania Ave NW, around 3rd- 15th Sts, G St NW and 15th St, 16th St NW and H St (Thursday only), 6th St and Independence Ave (Friday only), 7th – 9th St and D St (Friday only), Virginia Ave NW and 18th/19th St, Constitution Ave NW and 14th St (Friday only), and New York Ave and 13th St (Thursday only)among other locations.
