The AMC series The Walking Dead, which has spent much of the last few month filming in Senoia, GA, will film scenes tonight, 8/9, and tomorrow night, 8/10, on East Broad Street in Newnan, GA.
“All of the filming will consist of night work,” according to a City of Newnan press release. “There will be periods of sporadic, simulated gunfire, which will occur Friday night during filming.”
Back in Senoia, officials recently approved an expansion of future street closure permits in the downtown area show. The film expansion areas now also include “Travis Street from Barnes Street to Clark Street, Clark Street from Travis Street to Johnson Street, Seavy Street from Clark Street to Barnes Street, Barnes Street from Travis Street to Middle Street, Johnson Street from Clark Street to Pylant Street, Baggarly Way from Seavy Street to Couch Street, Main Street from Johnson Street to Ray Street, Pylant Street from Anderson Parkway to Couch Street and Ginn Street from Broad Street to Pylant Street.”
