This morning filming of the highly anticipated movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones kicked off at St. James Cemetery in Toronto. Though City of Bones is set in NYC, most of the shooting is expected to take place in Toronto this fall.
The movie, based on the best-selling fantasy book series by Cassandra Clare, stars Lena Headey, Lily Collins, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Durand, Kevin Zegers, and Jamie Campbell Bower.
According to TMISource, filming will return to St. James Cemetery in the morning (Tuesday, 8/21).
