Despite reports that Iron Man 3 had halted production last week because Robert Downey Jr. was injured on set, a casting call posted on Friday (Aug. 17) states they were filming all night:
CAGED (Iron Man 3 working title) :NEEDS ASAP -FOR FILMING TONIGHT (and filming thru the entire night) 1 caucasian female approx 5’6 / 115 to replace a last minute cancellation. Please submit a photo, your clothings sizes, height and weight to us at cagedheatextras@gmail.com with heading TONIGHT
As we’ve reported, Iron Man 3 will be filming nights at the Port of Wilmington in Wilmington, N.C. through September 7.
Another casting call posted this morning indicates they will be filming on a Friday- Tuesday schedule and confirms filming will resume on Friday (Aug. 24) if it hasn’t already:
CAGED: Seeking Fit Athletic Types (could also use Military types). Should be comfortable with heights. Must be available to film for 5 nights -Fri, Sat., Sun., Mon. & Tuesday. This will be ALL NIGHT filming (meaning filming thru the night until the morning). These will be full filming days (meaning you could be needed 12 hours or so). Those selected will also need to be available to attend a fitting this week. If fully available ALL 5 NIGHTS please submit to us at cagedheatextras@gmail.com with heading 5 NIGHTS. Please include a current snapshot, age, height,weight, clothings sizes, phone number and city and state you reside. (No housing will be provided as this is an extras position).

UPDATE: During filming on 8/24 – 8/28 the scenes that will include gunfire, smoke and a helicopter at the Port of Wilmington.

i am very familiar with this movie and i have some acting experience and i would love to start my career (acting) by doing this movie and plus i love action movies so i know i would play a good part in this movie that you may have for me
