‘White House Down’, starring Channing Tatum, is filming in Washington, D.C. this week

The upcoming movie White House Down, which has been filming on replica of the White House on a soundstage in Montreal for the past couple of months, is filming around the real White House this week.

The film, which focuses on a secret service agent who must protect the President after the White House is overtaken by a paramilitary group, stars Channing Tatum, Richard Jenkins, James Woods, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Jamie Foxx.

White House Down will be filming today and tomorrow around Pennsylvania Avenue and 15th – 17th Sts, as well as New York Ave and 14th- 15th Sts in Washington D.C.
