Thanks to one of our tipsters we’ve learned there were filming flyers distributed in the neighborhood around the Masonic Temple in Detroit for How To Catch A Monster.
The flyer states filming will take place tomorrow on Cass Street between the Masonic Temple (Temple St) and Mack((Martin Luther King Jr Blvd) in the “afternoon hours”. According to a recent casting call, they won’t begin shooting before 3 P.M. As we’ve reported, the movie has been filming in the same general area since last Friday.
Above is a distant photo of Friday’s shoot.
How to Catch a Monster is being directed by Ryan Gosling and stars Christina Hendricks, Eva Mendes, Saoirse Ronan, Matt Smith and Ben Mendelsohn.
Recently, Ryan praised Detroit and explained why he wanted to make his directorial debut in Michigan. “I just fell in love with Detroit,” he said. “It’s an incredible city, and there’s just something about the people there that I found really inspiring.”
Ryan Hill Casting is currently casting local extras too, stay tuned to Ryan Hill’s Facebook Page for updates and the latest casting calls.
