Updates from the set of Seth MacFarlane’s ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ in Santa Fe, NM

Seth MacFarlane and his star-studded cast, including Neil Patrick Harris, Amanda Seyfried, and Charlize Theron, have been keeping fans updated from the New Mexico set of their latest movie, A Million Ways To Die In The West, via Twitter.

Amanda Seyfried keeps fans in the know by tweeting set photos, including the one above she took with NPH during “some top secret barn stuff”.

Charlize has also tweeted a few pics from the set where she is “digging the cool New Mexican landscapes” and Neil recently told fans he was “shooting scenes for @SethMacFarlane’s awesome new western film. You won’t believe what I’ve done all day.”

The movie is based at Santa Fe Studios in Santa Fe, NM and is using several other remote filming locations including Jemez Pueblo, Shiprock, Chama, and Bonanza Creek, where we believe they are filming a saloon scene tonight.

Rumor has it, the cast has also made the downtown Santa Fe Starbucks their favorite hang out when they aren’t on set. Amanda Seyfried and Neil Patrick Harris were both spotted there last week.

Co-written and directed by MacFarlane, the comedy tells the story of farmer whose girlfriend leaves him after he backs out of a gunfight just as a mysterious woman rides into town and falls in love with him causing her outlaw husband to seek revenge.

Filming is expected to continue through July. EG Casting is handling extras.
