Thanks to one of our readers we’ve learned more about the next filming location for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 near Atlanta.
Crews have been prepping for a shoot at the Pullman Yard in Kirkwood – where scenes were also shot for Catching Fire – since Sept. 17. The movie’s telltale C4 production signs are posted around the property and they appear to be constructing a set inside one of the buildings on the property.
Today, a large tent up went up in a field adjacent to the set where the base camp will be situated which makes us think filming at the site will start any day now.
The movie has spent the past week filming in Dawsonville and Lithia Springs, GA, also.

UPDATE: The C4 signs have been removed, sounds like they’re trying to keep a low profile.
