‘Jurassic World’ begins filming at the abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans this week

After visiting two locations used in previous Jurassic Park films – Kualoa Ranch on Oahu and Jurassic Kahili Ranch on Kauai – Jurassic World is moving to a brand new set in New Orleans.

The movie, which is filming under the working title Ebb Tide, is schedule to shoot for the next 11 weeks in Louisiana and they are looking for lots of extras.

There is a new casting call for a shoot that will take pace on June 6 and June 9-13 at the old Six Flags New Orleans amusement park, located near 3011 Michoud Blvd. The abandoned park has become a popular filming location and was also recently used in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Director Colin Trevorrow recently revealed a few of the upcoming movie’s plot points, which you can check out at EW (if you don’t mind spoilers).

And, here is the full casting call for the Six Flags shoot:

“Ebb Tide”, a Steven Spielberg film, needs men and women
(18yrs-75yrs) who are available to work: 6/6, and 6/9 through 6/13
at Six Flags Park. Pay is $101.50/12 hrs.
