A couple of weeks ago Victoria Justice quietly began filming her upcoming movie, The Outskirts, in Great Neck, NY.
Most of the shoot is taking place at the Great Neck North High School as well as a few other locations around Great Neck and Port Washington into early August.
The crew is using the parking lot behind the school as a base camp where they’ve stored several vehicles and some equipment.
According to the movie’s Twitter feed, they filmed a pool scene in a residential neighborhood today.
This isn’t the first time Justice has been filming in New York recently. She spent much of last fall in the NYC area filming two projects, the movie Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List and the MTV pilot Eye Candy, too.
The Outskirts also stars The Middle’s Eden Sher who, along with Justice, play two outcasts in a school “where the uncool kids overthrow the popular crew. There’s drama, there’s humor. And, as with any good teen movie, there are tears.”
