Where you can find Ben Affleck filming ‘Live By Night’ in Lawrence, MA this month

After spending the last few weeks filming in Georgia, Ben Affleck’s Live By Night is moving to Massachusetts.

The prohibition-era movie, based on the best-selling book of the same name, stars Affleck, who is also directing, as well as Zoe Saldana, Elle Fanning, Sienna Miller and Chris Messina.

On Thursday, Nov. 12, the movie is expected to start filming on Appleton Way between Lawrence City Hall and Lawrence Superior Court in Lawrence, MA. Filming will continue in Lawrence through the end of the month at multiple locations including Casey Bridge, Canal and Methuen streets, and the Everett Mill.

Here is a detailed schedule of filming in Lawrence:

Nov. 12, 13, and 16: Filming on Appleton way between City Hall and Lawrence Superior Court

Nov. 14: Filming on the Casey Bridge

Nov. 16: Filming on Canal and Methuen Sts.

Nov. 19: Filming at the Everett Mill, 15 Union St.

Nov. 21: Filming on the Duck Bridge o Union St.

Nov. 23: Filming car chase scene throughout town

  1. I checked out Lawrence City Hall at lunchtime… Saw some old 1920 era cars and some old fashioned fake storefronts. I was told they would be filming a chase scene.. Plenty of movie trailers and equipment around on the side streets.. Didn’t see any movie stars though. Unfortunately, it’s drizzling rain so bring an umbrella…

  3. thanks again for movie info i have worked on state and main what’s the worst that could happen babies in black a.k.a. moonlight-mile mystic river, spartan my favorite, was in ted r.i.p.d. ,field of dreams, allso i was involded with mermaids, the good son and help with locations on m.b.t.s. kb a.k.a. ””’joy”’…..free lanced with the film cr ew ‘the wicked summer’……and if my dues have been paid up to date i should be on file with boston casting some people think i look like adam sandler ha! ha!! ya right in my dreams…..thanksaaaanks

  4. I was last week.. got a couple shots of the set and some pics with a few extras that were hanging out dressed in 1920’s outfits..they were really sweet…I heard they were filming a different movie up in Newburyport, MA??

  5. I was watching them film right outside my boxing gym on Monday the 16th it was pretty awesome to watch all the cars from that era. The scene being filmed was a police chase.
