    • I think it all depends on his mood or perhaps the mood he’s in to get ready for a scene.

      I went in twice – the first time was on his second day of shooting (June 16th) and I was at the very front of the barricade right by his trailer and when he came out his entire face was covered by a huge umbrella. Me and all the fans who were there that day were so quiet and not one yelled his name or even said a word. We were all very disappointed that he was so close yet we couldn’t see his face.

      Some people later speculated that this was because that was his first day with the bruises makeup and wanted to hide that from the paps or that perhaps he was so on edge of that first day that he just wanted extra protection from the fans.

      You just never know how he’ll act on set toward the fans – he’s inconsistent and unpreditable in that way.

      • Yesterday we had no barriers and they were thinking about putting the umbrella because his bruises were really gruesome but they didnt :). And frm wat i hav seen as soon as sumone screams they start moving him quicker an tell him not to look up…yesterday he even said hello to my friend…when he passes right infront of u u politely say Hello….not shout “Robert i love you!!” I just thought it was really sweet of him.

        • This kind of proves my point. One of the CP days he walked right past me with his bodyguards and I said Hi Rob and he didn’t look up. Whatever he chooses to do is fine with me and I adore him and respect him but you just don’t know how he will act.

  3. do they start shooting at 7am or is it a parking permit only?
    cause if it is, it probably means rob won’t be on set that early… he usually gets there when at least a few things are set up.

    • they are all together, just walk around the six streets/avenues, they have tons of trailers and trucks for equipment to be parked somwhere.

        • I have never been on set, I meant that u should just walk around. I gotta go fetch money to live…have fun ladies. -_- And yeah behaave, let’s show him and the rest of the cast+crew that New York can and will be treating everyone respectful, don’t forget they are working as well, it’s not that Rob and the rest of the cast just came there to sign autographs and pictures, they don’t have to stop and do it. -_- Have fun anyway. greeetz Cia

  10. for the out of towners…The streets run South to North and the Names run East to West…
    63rd then 64th then 65th…these streets all cross with either Lexington, Park, or Madison Avenues (This is consider mid to uptown) this is on the opposite end of The Lincoln or the Holland Tunnel coming in from Jersey (meaning cross-twon). If you are coming from Upstate New York…most probably I-95 South…then you’ll end up on the Riverside Drive Parkway leads you to the WEST SIDE of Manhattan or the Deegan which leasds you towards the EAST SIDE of Manhattan taking you to the FDR Drive…closer to this location. AND PLEASE PLEASE…do be nice…no creaming or yelling definitely I agree with one of the previous posts the guy is nice enough to stop and take pics and sign autographs when his fans are pleasant…imagine someone screaming for your attention? your first reaction is to move away from the individual…his gotten this all over the world pretty much…so he’s on his guard…good luck to you ladies…i sure hope you all get a picture or at least an exchange of words from him, he does seem to be genuinely nice and humble…be nice we want him to want to come back to the New York and of course…not seclude himself from the stress of this new found stardom.

  11. Please Be Nice– I wish there were more Rob fans like you! Why do girls have to be freakin scary and make Rob scurry away lol? I’m planning to head over right now since I’m local, but it was so nice of you to put up directions for out-of-towners!

    • I posted before that this a 35 day shoot which takes us to August 4th but other people posted that this doesn’t mean those scenes will be with Rob. I personally think he will come back after comic-con.

      • Cindy from my understanding they have been pushing up his schedule to complete his scenes so that we can leave early for Comic Con and not necesarily have to come bakc to NY.

        This will be dependant on whether final outdoor or indoor shoots Also if there are no rainouts and he is done I believe he will not come back to NY unless there has been some re shoots

        Bottom line nobody knows 100% yet.

        Trust me this informtion is solid from an insider sorry cant say anymore however if he can he will not be back because that will give him a sometime off relaxation before going to Vancouver for Eclipse

        • Well – I think it puts them sooner then Aug 4th b/c they have filmed one saturday – and I think they are filming this weekend – My friends cousin has a small role in the movie and said she is filming this weekend in NYC

            • No I have no clue, Sorry. I wouldn’t even ask. This girl could care less about RPattz she’s more excited about working with Pierce! They are on gag orders – and Rob’s name has been taken off all the daily call sheets.

          • Yeah, I completely doubt that Kristen and her “we” would EVER attempt to post something on this site! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this site, but I’m sure she doesn’t even know anything about it and would rather stay away from all the attention. It’s just some little girl who doesn’t get enough attention!

    • I asked the tall blond PA yesterday if he was done before next Thursday and he said “No way, they still have alot left to shoot.”

      • Agreed. No way will they be done. Location shooting done? Sure, maybe so. But they haven’t shot any of the Tyler/Aidan apartment scenes. There are sooooo many of those. No way will they be done by Wednesday.

      • Hi TinaC….I was told the same by the same PA guy on Mondays shoot at the Plaza. When I stated he (Rob) must be happy that this week will be the end of the NYC mayhem. He said they have lots more to shoot, Rob included. This made me happy, because I am in Chicago (which at our hotel The 4 Seasons..just saw 4 huge tour buses with a whole lot of band members leave in front of me, Billy Joel’s and Black Crowes sp? the others I didn’t know!) but I do not get back til Sunday night, and wanted to see one more day of shooting and our dear Robalicious!! Hope if he stays till next week..if so..hope to see y’all there!

  15. According to some of the girls on set, the scene they are getting ready to film does not involve Rob….at least not for now. It should be Ruby and the mom, according to the script. No cast there as of yet. Anyway, good luck to all of you going today!

    • Nope he is not going to stop tht early…last thurs. there were 10 ppl at 9:44 an he didnt stop :(. He only stops if fans have been waiting into the wee morning hours for him.

  18. just got back from set i had to go to work but i work by there. Rob wasnt there when i left at 9. he is gonna be there though bc they were setting up his trailer and moving ppl around. Someone just texted me and said they left at 930 for work and he still wasnt there and also its a birthday scene. there really are no good spots to watch b/c they put the barricades wayyy back. They have a car on a truck with a camera so i assume they are doing car shots!

  19. To Lavender: Thank you. I totally adore him because on every interview he has done…he makes me laugh silly! He totally seems to be a regular guy…very humble but of course overwhelmed by all of this attention. Hey the attention is great when it’s positive…but since he first got to New York it was mayhem…I mean I saw pictures of girls hanging on to him…and pushing themselves up on him just to take a picture with their cam…without asking him…I mean I’m a New Yorker so I would totally flip out on anybody getting that close to me without my permission. From the last few posts i’ve seen…he’s been very nice about taking pictures and signing autographs…I don’t think that he is unpredictable…we have to try to understand that he is actually working so if he doesn’t respond to us, maybe he has allot on his mind. The magnitude of his popularity carries great expectations from his fans…therefore he is trying to put out and give the best performance when he’s acting so not to disappoint his fans…I see this as overwhelmingly stressful on any individual…so please sit back and think about all the things we want from this one person…and then multiply that by a million or more other fans…again good luck to all of you ladies today…I hope you do get to see him…I sure would love to.

Just lately he seems to have had a lot of nasty negative things said about him – totally unjustified in my opinion but he’s a fellow Brit and I have to stand up for him! Fame doesn’t always sit easily with someone naturally reserved! Anyway well done for saying that. You’ve probably got more chance of meeting him than I ever will!

      • When I said unpredictable I just mean that when you go to set you don’t know what to expect from him – will he look up or down? Will he wave or not? etc. I think the gossip blogs etc. saying he looks sad and depressed are going too far…I just think he is in character. This is not a light-hearted movie based on the script and I don’t think Rob is sad or depressed…he’s just getting in character. I adore him and understand that if he wants to act a certain way there’s probably a reason behind it but you cannot predict how he will act. Just my two cents.

        • I don’t understand why there is such discussion over whether or not he looks up or down, smiles or not. This man is working! On what I would expect is a very tense project (I read the script, couldn’t help it) with deadlines to meet. I am sure that he has a lot of pressure on him about the next movie he makes after Twilight. The paps and screaming fans don’t help matters much. I too stood on a street corner for 2 hours with not a lot of fans one day while in NYC for a few days on vacation waiting for him to come out of his trailer. Did I expect to see him..no not really but I was hoping (it was couple of days after he had been grabbed around the neck). Did I see him…no because they shielded him with an umbrella and rushed him inside. Yes it was a bummer but I enjoyed the atmosphere anyway talking with other fans who admire him. So spend some “quiet time” watching for awhile, then go out and enjoy all NYC has to offer!

  21. oh man … i heard yesterday went so good. i wish i could go up today but i work all day =( and dont get out until 6 and live in jersey so it sucks. if its really not the last day for shooting for him i would love to go up. ive been up there twice already and both times i had some crazy fans in the group which is just embarassing! i would love updates !

Thanks Lizziebee…we all know that the media’s sole purpose is to sell a story…naturally that will happen…I mean I’m sure you guys remember the video from I think earlier this week with the Paparazzi trying to grab on to Rob for a picture…and Rob was nice enough to not punch the guy out…I mean come on…that’s just a little too much…Rob is a 23 year old guy just like any other guy…I’m sure he reacts like a normal human being would to negative attention…so I will never ever speculate on what the media has put out there or portrayed him to be; the guy is human, he has feelings and just like the rest of us wants time for himself to devote to his sanity and personal life. I am literally dying to see him…but I cannot bring myself to go to any of his filming spots, because I feel that I am one less person he needs to feel pressure from. I really do get crazy happy when you girls post pics with him and get autographs…it must be a great feeling to be able to interact with someone as nice as he seems to genuinely be…so have fun ladies…I just want him to come back to New York…and enjoy the city by being able to walk in Central Park or just stroll around New York…without getting jumped by a mob of girls…:-)…this way we will all eventually be able to enjoy more of Rob, and hey you never know…imagine he does come back and chill in New York…you may one day run into him in the park and have a casual conversation…that’s what I’m daydreaming about!!! LOLOLO

    • I’d say take advantage of this opportunity to go. You may not get another one quite like this. Clearly you will be respectful of his privacy and that’s what counts. It’s a win-win. You get to see Rob from a distance and he gets a fan who isn’t screaming his name.

    • PBN that’s totally how I felt today and I ended up leaving early before I saw him. I got there and saw a bunch of girls perched, ready with cameras, and I felt embarrassed. I didn’t have a camera with me because I hadn’t planned to use one, I really just wanted to see him from a distance, but then I ended up thinking that even that was too weird. I totally hear ya on the just hoping to run into him casually one day lol! No one would believe me if I said this, but I really don’t wish that he was my boyfriend, I wish he was someone I could hang out with because he seems so fun to be around!

        • Right?? It’s like, don’t get me wrong, Rob is totally attractive; but I’m just in love with Edward (lol I know that is nonsensical), and Rob is just a goofy guy who seems like he’d be a fun friend.

          • it’s bizarre that i so enjoyed the edward charecter much more than the books itself. specially after reading about jacob’s imprinting on edward’s daughter, i was kind of done with the books idea. And yet somehow it never had any effect on edward’s admiration.
            though i do take rob and edward totally different. he was good in harry potter but he was flawless in haunted airmen. his singing and then so many interviews i guess keeps all of us busy.

            • I am totally there with you on the imprinting! I had to give my friend a run down of the rest of the books because she didn’t want to continue after the first one, and I had to explain imprinting and how (to me) it was gross the way Jacob imprinted on Bella’s baby! I mean, great he is going to no longer interfere with Bella and Edward, but there was something that didn’t sit well with me with that whole idea.

      Lavender and Basicquestion, I agree with the both of you. I started off only telling myself I loved Edward the character and tried to make that distinction clear, but after seeing so many interviews with Rob, the line got blurry and I totally love him now too! I actually went to set today as well with a fellow Rob lover friend but we also left before we saw him. We didn’t want photos and we didn’t even want to really meet him. We just wanted to catch a pathetic glimpse of him and in the end we realized we needed to leave because it was so awkward! Really do hope one day just by chance running into him, but even then I might end up ignoring him because I wouldn’t know what the heck to say lol.

      • it would be totally wrong to say that “rob is so lucky 2 have such good fans”. the truth is , as nice as a person he is, he actually do deserve the caring, thoughtful and kind fans.( funny because i think ppl who fall in this category wouldn’t like 2 ecknowledge that they r his fans..including me..) i love the fact that he is so multitalented and yet so unassuming and humble. it’s cute how he is shooting for all the fame and no attention!!

  23. I work down the block from today’s location and I’m dying to go over. Hopefully at lunch. So far he’s not on set yet according to some tweets.

  24. I went there this morning before work. I saw Pierce right before I left for work, but Rob was not there yet and that was around 9. The paparazzi did say that this was his last day shooting in NY though and that all other scenes will be done at the studio.

      • They also get info from the production company. Hence the pictures everyday since he’s been in NYC.

        They’d know if they still had to take pictures on-location..

        • Yes you are right, but I think it depends on the paparazzi, because when I went to set we met a few that got their information from websites like this one and didn’t know anymore than we did.

    • I don’t think that it was confirmed that today is his last day of shooting. The production company perhaps told that to the paparazzi so that less people would be hanging around set to hound him.

    • Me too thats when I am going. I just found out that they were looking for a stand in on that day so they are going to be filming on Monday, I just dont know the details. Im still waiting to find out where and if Rob will be there. Sounds like it will be an indoor shoot.

  37. Saw rob p and he got into a grey hybrid car driven by a pa and left. Another pa took the baracades away said that they were calling an early day and that rob left set for the day and a scene was cut and they would be shooting it another day. PAs lie sometimes but that’s the info I got. People did scream and some tried to walk into the street when he was getting into the car.

      • The only other actor isa w wast he little girl and they walked up 63rd and turned down park ave (walking) and walked down park ave towards downtown

    Oh boy…here we go…this maybe the reason why the cut it short…the crowd may have been too large to handle…plus the way that Park avenue is set up…it could become dangerous for some of those crazy fans who did or tried to run into the street to get to him…it’s a pretty busy Avenue and cars fly through there even when it’s pretty packed with traffic…well at least that means they have to come back…probably late at night when there aren’t that many people around…I suggest you guys try to go at night it’s probably allot calmer and allot of the young teenage girls who cannot contain themselves may not be there…good luck everyone.

    • mmm…yes LadyLikeInPa i agree with you…but the magnitude of his popularity may cause mayhem on a busy New York City Street to the point of having to close the area completely and the city won’t like that…so I’m sure the production company will like to make sure that all stays calm…

    • i think there are but they aren’t as good looking. (mina in the shallow end of the pool. =)

      • The fans were friends of the Rob look a like – I am not sure if he is his stunt double or just a PA – but from what I understand he brought them up to his trailer – they went in for like 5 min. So no fans got “picked” cause they were hot or whatever – they knew the right person

        • u r right, it looked like they were friends of rob look alike, i saw them hugging when they were saying goodbye. i waited until the end and rob left through a back door where his car was waiting. all the fans were left in complete disbelieve that he went into the building were he was filming just to leave through the back door. we were left without closure.

        • Well that guy who looks like Rob, with the messy looking hair and sometimes dresses like him, is not a stunt double!

          If u go to set, u notice he wears an earpiece like all the other PAs and sometimes sits outside robs trailer to guard it

          I know I saw an article that called him robs stunt double but it is 100 percent false!!

          This movie is not an action movie buit a drama, y would u need a stunt double????

          • He could be his stand in, the person who “stands in” the spots where they actors will be, while camera crew sets up for the scene. PA’s often have this as part of their job description. Just need to be about the same size as the actor for setting up camera angles, etc.

            • I surely know the difference between a stand in and someone on the crew. I have seen rob and emilies stand in several times on set.

              Robs double as everyone calls him is 100 percent not his stand in!!! This guy is someone who works on the movie and guards robs trailer and is also always seen by rob, when rob walks to and from trailer

        • They were blonds and apparently they had to know the PAs or some other head person on set because otherwise they would not have had the chance to meet Rob. The blond PA was the one who led these women into Rob’s trailer. I saw it happen because I was standing in front of the barrackades facing Rob’s trailer. It’s so unfair and it’s called nepotism.

  70. Hi guys! The day turned out wonderful for me watching Rob film til 6 pm from across the street. Not crazy at all but yes, lots of people. PAs were nice but kept moving people around.

    I got there at around 12:59 and there were two areas that were barricaded and just a few ppz. We spoke to a few PA’s to ask what was going on and they said Rob was in his trailer since 10 am. Earlier Pierce was filming, walked around and said hello to some fans.

    At 145, he came out quickly from his trailer and went in a silver grey camry and sped off. We left for lunch and saw Pierce walking away from the set when we stopped him and asked for a picture. He said yes and was quite accomodating.

    Some PAs were hanging around removing signs. We came back at 3:45 and he arrived back on the set in the same car around 4:00 and went straight to his trailer. They filmed an outdoor scene and if you are not behind the barricade there was a great view from across the street. They started filming at 5:00 pm.

    We got loads of pics and videos! He had 10 takes of the same scene walking with the little girl and the mom while holding a pink sleeping bag. He was wearing his navy hoody.

    The scene was in front of the apartment with address 575 Park avenue on 63rd street. I left at 6:pm after the scene was shot and he was escorted inside the apartment not back to his trailer so i don’t know if that scene was over.

    It was a great day and a good way to end my visit to NYC. Thanks for all the tips and for all your stories.

      we left after everyone was bein barcaded cuz we didnt think we were gonna get any pics no more .
      they even told everyone not to stand on that divider !

    • I definitely agree. I posted that yesterday as well. I would love to see him play his guitar. I hear he is really amazing in person. Now only to get the chance….

      • Don’t hold your breath. I read in one of his older interviews that he doesn’t do that anymore because he doesn’t like being on You Tube. He likes to keep it quiet, no such luck anymore.

  80. Has anyone heard about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart supposedly spotted at Terminal 5 here in NYC? Also its spread around Twitter that RPattz was spotted in the East Village an hour ago.

      • I was out with friends last night at Tom & Jerry’s when he came in. I didn’t pester him for photos or an autograph though. He looked like he needed to relax & enjoy the escape.

    • Kristen is in town? Wow…I go away from two weeks and I miss everything! Is it confirmed that he is only filming these few days before Comicon and then he is done with Remember Me? I see the New Moon stuff is scheduled for July 23, so does he come back the week after or no?

    • Jeez…it was after 12. I don’t know exactly when he got there, we were there for a bit before I noticed him. He left before we left though and that was after 2. This was like the 3rd bar we were at that night so timing is a little fuzzy, love girls night out : )

  84. Hey everyone, not sure how reliable this source is but I just found this statement in the www:

    “Variety has stated that Rob will not be participating in any backstage interviews during Comic Con, as the theme of New Moon is the relationship between Bella and Jacob. Much to the dismay of many Rob/Edward fans, but it’s good to know the producers are focusing on the the subject at hand.”

    Thought I share this with you all.

    • You’ve had since June 15th with Rob in NYC. I paid $300 for a plane ticket and $25 for my Comic-Con ticket. I think we can all share.

  85. he will be on the panel at Comic Com (1 hour obligation), but not participating in the press junkets before, during and after. This is KStew and TLautner’s turn in the spot light. I think its a wise choice.

  86. The Variety article doesn’t make any sense to me. Last year everyone no matter how big part they played did a lot of interviews. Even Taylor for gods sake, with his “mud pie” line.
    ROb is a big part of NM, his is pivotal for the story. NM shows Bella’s realtionship with Jacob, but also how her relationship with Edward is changed after Italy.
    I mean most people when they think of NM remember the break up and Italy.
    I just can’t stand interview after interview about Taylors muscles, how he worked out, what he ate….I mean come on. Oh and he doesn’t get other characters…he just brags about Jacob. In any case I hope he does press, because to be honest his interviews are the only ones I’m looking forward to.

    Anyway I think he’ll probably be back in NY right after that…I have a feeling they didn’t finished all of his scenes, but we’ll see 🙂

    • Well said Daniela – I totally agree with what you’ve said. I can’t stand Taylor – sorry but I can’t. He just irritates me big time. I will only listen to any interviews involving Rob because he makes even the most mundane things interesting! It will be a real shame if he doesn’t participate so much in the promotional stuff but I really can’t understand why he wouldn’t. He IS integral to the story and the majority of us will be willing our way through the boring middle part of the film to Edward’s reappearance and reunion with Bella and that’s all that matters.

It was calm no problems we were aloud to b near his trailer we were aloud to stand close but then word got out and we had to leave the area
