2018 Met Gala and Exhibition:
The Met Ball, also known as the Met Gala, is one of the biggest annual fundraising events for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It also marks the opening of the institute’s annual fashion exhibit.
But, most people know it as New York’s answer to the Oscars as the world’s biggest stars come out in gowns by top designers, making it one of the best events of the year for star-spotting in NYC!
Among the celebs who will be on The Met red carpet are:
Amal Clooney and George Clooney
Rihanna
Donatella Versace
Amal, Rihanna and Donatella are co-hosting this year’s event which takes place on Monday, 5/7 at The Met in NYC. Celebs start arriving at 6:00 PM.
This year’s theme is Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.
