Tribeca Film Festival

The traditional Tribeca Film Festival is around the corner and the full schedule has been released, with different types of attractions other than the feature film competition.
The opening night will take place on April 24 at The Apollo Theater, with the world premiere of the documentary The Apollo. The festival will close on May 4 with the world premiere of the highly-anticipated Danny Boyle’s Yesterday.

Anniversary Screenings
Apocalypse Now – 40th Anniversary (ever-before-seen restored version of the film)
Sunday, April 25, 5pm – Beacon Theatre
After the Screening: Francis Ford Coppola and acclaimed filmmaker Steven Soderbergh will have a conversation to discuss the huge undertaking of restoring Apocalypse Now: Final Cut and why the time was right for Coppola to do this now, forty years after the original version and eighteen years after Apocalypse Now Redux.
The Simpsons – 30th Anniversary
