Please provide a brief narrative explaining what the grant was used for and its outcomes.
The CLRC grant supported our plans to have Jake Edwards from the Onondaga Nation address a group of nearly 80 attendees about the significance of an eclipse to formation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Funds supported staff time to set up the Ska-nonh Great Law of Peace for our visitors, the purchase of eclipse viewing glasses, and a variety of Haudenosaunee foods (three sisters soup, strawberry drink, scoons, and Indian cookies) that were served during the event. Visitors were able to tour the Center, shop in the retail store, and stay to enjoy the eclipse from the parking lot that overlooks Onondaga Lake.
