Please provide a brief narrative explaining what the grant was used for and its outcomes.
The grant funding was used for eclipse-themed snacks, magnet parts for “Together Again” themed takeaways, advertising for social media for all 3 NOPL branches, and a Bluetooth speaker that was used to share solar eclipse information as well as eclipse-themed music. The outcome was a very successful program for NOPL Brewerton with attendance reaching 87 patrons of all ages from babies to seniors. Several families used the library for eclipse viewing as well as coming in to watch the NASA live stream, listen to music, and make crafts with library staff. Many patrons came in to thank the staff for a wonderful time, and a fun event.
