One of our new readers, Tom Murro, was lucky enough to score a spot on the red carpet at the Gotham Awards in NYC last week! Here’s what he had to say about the experience:
“I wasn’t sure what to do once I got there so I decided to make great use of my time by having a microphone with the logo ‘Celebrity Magnet’ on it (that would be me). I’ve recently been dubbed that so I thought I should use it for my first day of my interviewing career and having my photo taken with every celeb on the carpet, and the list was long, I did my best and had tons of fun doing it! I asked fun an simple questions, when I asked Rosie Perez what she wanted for Christmas she told me she wanted more money and great sex! Natlie Portman who looked absolutely stunning admitted that she only eats rice-cream and wears shoes form Target because she is now a vegan. Chris Rock was great, he was going on about the name on my mic , “Celebrity Magnet what the hell is that ??”, he said. “I like the name but I never heard of you!” They had to be thinking ..who the heck is this guy? They all seemed to like me either way and were pleased to be photographed with me. Inside [I met] Morgan Spurlock from Super Size Me, we had some small talk for a while, he was very nice and I think he wanted my black velvet dinner coat. LOL.”
