‘Hall Pass’ filming location information for Friday, April 23, 2010

Owen Wilson Goes For Grub In Hawaii!

Today, Hall Pass, starring Owen Wilson, is back at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation located at 2500 Clairmont Road, NE Atlanta, Georgia 30329.

Yesterday, they were filming a restaurant scene at the church as well as a walking scene outside the church.

For next week, rumor has it they will be filming stunts and a golf course near Fernbank. They are also trying to secure permission to film at Fernbank (not sure if it will be the zoo or science center). The shoot will wrap up at the end of next week and we’ve also heard the wrap party may be this weekend.

This is interesting, the producers were also calling the band Dropkick Murphys for permission to use a banner with their name on it for the scene.

  1. I live in Atlanta down the street from where filming is taking place. I’ve never been to a filming location and I was wondering how it works… can I just go and watch or how does it work?

    Thanks for any information!

    • This one is a closed set, meaning it’s more difficult to access if you aren’t directly affiliated with production. However, if you walk the perimeter you might be able to get information from cast or background or such.

  2. You know if a set is closed or not if you visit the area and find security standing around nearby. 😛 Let’s put it this way, if you have to use binoculars there is probably a closed set.

Owen Wilson was on the set in Atlanta as were the two women and Joy Behr. The scene was of the women talking with Joy and then an outside scene of Joy telling the women about the ‘hall pass’ possibility.

    • John-do you know if they filmed at Peachtree Hills Park? I live right across the street and saw cast and crew signs along with a bunch of trucks and equipment sometime a week or so ago parked all along the street by the park. Just curious if they filmed there and if its going to appear in the movie!! 🙂

      Thanks!

  3. Why would anyone want to be some place where they arent welcome or wanted? Get a life people. I like good food, but I dont feel the need to stand back in the kitchen and watch how the chefs make it! This site is garbage and should be shut down. Christine, why dont you post your address so we can all come watch you at work? lol

  4. Outsiders are not always shunned, even on closed sets, crew accommodate the onlookers and inform them on the scenes, where to stand and the ques for absolute silence.
Just because you are Nimrod who only cares about the end result, you should not bash those are curious about the process and actual locations (especially if local). These are the first people in line at the theater, the first to order the pay per view, and the first to buy the DVD. Film crews know this, everybody except the few that have your Neanderthal mentality. (Maybe you are a teenager, and you will be exempt)
Like Christine would divulge her location to you, have you told her what Burger King you work at? (No offense to any BK employees) Why would you even wind up on this site? You are telling people to get a life? So we should get a life, (like yours) telling people to get a life? You are AWESOME!!!!!! And I suck for wanting to see movies (sometimes history) being made!
Go troll over at the “American Idol” forum/site. You will blend right in!

  5. What is the final day that they will be filming this week? Is Owen on
location all this week? Please post final schedule if have it?
    Thanks.
