The highly anticipated Michal Bay/ Steven Spielberg produced film, I Am Number Four, has been shooting in the Pittsburgh area for the past couple of weeks and now we have a look at where they’ll be headed next.

This week, DreamWorks was given permission to film in two Alegheny County Parks, Deer Lakes and North Park, beginning this week (presumably, they started filming at one of the parks today as they spent Wednesday and Thursday filming in Vandergrift).

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, they will also shoot scenes at one of the schools in the Franklin Regional School District in Murrysville, PA over the next few days.

I Am Number Four will also film a scene on Friday & Saturday (6.11- 6.12) near 1200 2nd St, Beaver, PA overnight from approximately 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The film is an adaption of a James Fray and Jobie Hughes young-adult novel about nine aliens who beam down to Earth, escaping invasion by a rival species on their home planet. It star’s Glee’s Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, Timothy Olyphant, and Alex Pettyfer.

In other filming in Pittsburgh news, Katherine Heigl will begin filming One For The Money, based on Janet Evanovich novel of the same name, in Pittsburgh on July 12.

Update: On June 14, I Am Number Four begins filming at Franklin Regional High School too thanks to the woods near the school.
