‘Margin Call’ begins filming in Brooklyn on Monday, June 21, 2010

Margin Call, which stars Demi Moore, Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Stanley Tucci, Zachary Quinto and Penn Badgley, begins filming in and around NYC tomorrow. The shoot will kick off on Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, NY from 3 a.m.-7 p.m on Monday, June 21.

The film, which is being directed by J.C. Chandor, follows eight people during the first 24 hours of the Wall Street financial crisis.

  1. It’s morning til 7pm! casting call is 3am in the morning and mostly all cast is set to be there based on the casting sheets. This is going to be big.

  2. This has become the movie I’m anticipating the most! The script must be awesome to attract such a cast.
    I’m a Zach Quinto & Simon Baker fan, not to mention a longtime Kevin Spacey fan. This is going to be huge!

    continues to baulk ANY genuinely daring, much less
    revelatory work in favor of towing the franchise slum
    Hollywood line with one stale, pointless, routine project
    after another.

    MEANWHILE, having made BILLIONS for decades
    catering to the denial needs of history’s –MOST–
    awesomely genocidal regime -bar none! ACROSS
    the Pacific —-Hollywood AGAIN ‘mysteriously overlook’
    BOTH the 20th anniversary of the Tiennamen Massare
    AND the staggeringly relevant, urgently relevant
    60th anniversary of the KOREAN WAR —this year.
