We have another update from the set of Scream 4 that includes some fun pictures for fans of the franchise!
Today, they were filming at Next Chapter Bookstore and Bistro (141 E. Main Street in Northville, MI). The scene was shot inside the bookstore where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) was doing a booksigning. David Arquette was sitting outside the store in his deputy outfit running lines in the afternoon and tere were several Woodsboro police cars parked outside too. In the photos below, you can see a shelf with “Bargain” books on it and if you look closely, the books all written by Gail Weathers (Courteney Cox)! Courteney was also on set, but didn’t appear to be in this particular scene.
Interestingly, one of our readers, Cheri, told us that a few days ago the Barnes and Noble in Northville was contacted by the production company behind Scream 4 and they came in to buy several bargain books which they said would be recovered and used in a scene involving a booksigning. Now we know exactly what they were for!
On Wednesday, July 7, Scream 4 returns to Next Chapter to finish the booksigning scene.
