As we all know by now, Transformers 3 took over the streets of Chicago last weekend and two of our readers sent us a few more photos from Sunday’s shoot.
First, Eydie, sent us some pics from LaSalle St, which was set up as if an explosion had already taken place with car accidents, dust and fire everywhere. Eydie also include a few shots of Optimus Prime, and in one of them, you can even get a glimpse of what appears to be BumbleBee. The cars were being driven by stuntmen, covered in black, except for their eyes.

Jay also stopped by the set on Jackson, where most of the cars were staged for filming. Jay told us he saw, “3 of the NASCAR cars that had weapons on them, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, the unnamed Ferrari, Ratchet, a blue Mercedes-Benz, and Optimus Prime.” He also stayed long enough to see the cars race off and turn down LaSalle for several takes with different combinations of the cars doing takes.
