Below is a list of where you can find movies & TV shows filming across the country on 7.16.10.

Filming in New York City Vicinity:

All New York locations (including Gossip Girl, Curb Your Enthusiasm and more) are posted here.

Filming in Chicago:

•Transformers 3 is filming on Michigan Ave, Chicago.

•What You Don’t Know, formerly Cheaters, aka The Untitled Ron Howard Project starring Vince Vaughn, is filming at the Alcatel-lucent office at the corner of Naperville Road and Warrenville Road in Naperville, IL. (Thanks Annie) FYI: Originally, we heard that they were only filming through Wed. but got confirmation they were still at this location Thursday night so they may still be at this location today as well.

Filming in Los Angeles & Vicinity:

•Moneyball, starring Brad Pit & Jonah Hill, is filming at 202 W 1st St, Los Angeles, 6:00 A.M. – 2:00 A.M. *Look for signs that say MB.

•Cinema Verite, a new HBO series, is filming at 1700 Lida St in Pasadena.

•The Lincoln Lawyer, starring Matthew McConaughey, William H. Macy, Marisa Tomei, and Ryan Phillippe is filming at 200 N Main St, Los Angeles, 3:30 P.M. – 10:00 P.M.

Update: •Horrible Bosses, starring Jennifer Aniston, is filming at Griffith Park (just down the hill from Observatory). (Thanks Amanda)

Update: •Dexter is filming at Lakeview Canyon Rd & Watergate Ct, Westlake Village, CA.

Update: •Californication is filming on Prairie St in Chatsworth, CA.

Update: House is filming at Wilshire Blvd and S Plymouth Blvd, Los Angeles. (Thanks Ryan)

FYI: Water For Elephants has wrapped in Piru but will continue filming around L.A. until the end of the month. Update: The are reportedly filming in Santa Clarita Studios. (Thanks JJ)

Filming in Detroit/Michigan:

•Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman and Evangeline Lilly, is still filming at the Detroit Fire Department Headquarters on the corner of Washington Blvd and Larned St FYI: The permits for this location run through 7.27, though they have been spotted at other locations throughout the city this week.

•Machine Gun Preacher, starring Gerard Butler, is filming at at Kercheval and East Grand Blvd in Detroit. (Thanks Jessica) Update: Someone stopped by this location this morning and MGP had wrapped at this location.

UPdate:

Update: •Machine Gun Preacher is setting up on Washington Blvd in Detroit.

•Scream 4 is filming at the Hutzel Women’s Hospital in Detroit. This is a night shoot. (Thanks Kerrie) FYI: From what we hear, their base camp is set up at DMC, but they are actually filming at Hutzel.

• The Double, starring Richard Gere, was filming at Nicholson Terminal & Dock earlier in the week. Please let us know if you spot them at the same location, so we can verify, thanks!

Update: •Salvation Boulevard is reportedly filming at the Dearborn Performing Arts Center. They had filmed at this location a few months ago, maybe they are filming re-shoots? (Thanks Ron)

Update: •Harlod & Kumar is filming at The Opera House in Detroit. (Thanks Keith) FYI: This is also where they auditioned dancers a few weeks ago, so maybe this is the big dance number they are shooting.

Update: •There is a Rumor, LOL , starring Miley Cyrus, is filming in Dearborn, MI.

Filming in Pittsburgh:

•Abduction, starring Taylor Lautner, is filming in Mt. Lebanon again.

Filming in New Orleans:

•Green Lantern is filming at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans again. FYI: Yesterday they were filming in a residential neighborhood near zoo, sounds like Zoo might just be base camp. (Thanks Nicole)

Filming in Texas:

•Friday Night Lights is filming at 3750 Midway Plaza, Dallas, TX.

•The new ABC series, My Generation, is filming at Tarrytown Park, 2106 Tower Drive, Austin, TX.

Filming in Shreveport:

Update: •The Gates is filming at Southern Loop and Norris Ferry Rd in Shreveport. (Thanks J)

Filming in Atlanta:

•Mean Girls 2 still filming at Decatur High School in Decatur, GA. (Thanks B. Hire)

  1. Here are a couple more in L.A. that I’m not sure what they are:
    -Final Sale filming at 11th St, Main St – Broadway
    -The Beautiful Girls filming at 613 S Grand Ave
    -So Big filming at 1317 Willow St
    -Black Dogs filming DA 472-10 @ 2nd St, Hewitt St. – Santa Fe Ave & Vignes St, Temple St. – 2nd St.

  2. some additional info related to my last tip:

    There are ‘HB’ signs posted for “Horrible Bosses” beginning at the middle of Vermont Road, going all the way up into the park. The Security guard that i spoke to said that they will be filming there tomorrow as well.

    • I wish they would film somewhere close to my city. They were in Dearborn to film at a middle school, but I couldn’t go because I was watching Gerard Butler film at a trailer park in my city. I love the Scream franchise and watching them film the 4th installment would be awesome! If anyone finds out more Scream 4 filming locations (that are close to Melvindale, MI), please let me know. 🙂

  4. Heard on local radio that the new Pierce Brosnan, Marisa Tomei, Ed Harris and Jennifer Conelly movie is filming at the Dearborn Performing Arts Center. Can anybody confirm this and upcoming locations?

    • They were filming a movie called Salvation Boulevard at the Performing Arts Center a few moths ago but the movie has since wrapped, they may be back for re-shoots?

  6. Can anyone tell me,are they filming reel steel at the old firehouse in Detroit today,,and,,is Gerards movie filming in the trailer park today still?
    I live 2 hours north,and want to come down,my son wants to see “wolverine” Just don’t want to go all the way down there,to have them not be at those locations still.
    Thanks for the help!

    • not 100% where either is honestly, they do have permits for the firehouse through 7.27 but a couple days this week they have been at other locations, if you felt like a drive it might be worth checking out, have heard from a lot of people who have seen Hugh there (filming outside, coming in and out, etc).

  12. Woww can’t believe Jennifer Aniston is fimling at Griffith Park! I was just there last Saturday night! 🙁 What luck….. :/

    Anyway, here’s info on 90210 filming on Monday!
    “On Monday, July 19, the TV show 90210 will be filming in front of the studio and down Elena Avenue. Leave a few minutes early for your appointment so you can find a parking space and watch the action. It will be fun.”

  15. my idiot brother started filming at 4pm today in London Terrace Gardens (450 building) in the penthouse. Only one apartment on the floor so no way of getting up there unless you have a pass or something. Filming today and monday.

  16. Does anyone have any information about the Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore “LOL!”? They’re in town already but I didn’t think filming started until later next week.

  21. Looks like I missed it again The MPG production for machine gun preacher has wrapped in Detroit on washington street. I followed one of the trucks and lost it at woodward and 13 mile. Keep your eyes out for trucks in that area and Possible in pontiac

      Yeah, someone was out checking out a bunch of the Detroit locations on Friday night for us and said that The Double def. wrapped at that location, MGP wrapped at Washington Blvd location, that the Salvation Blvd re-shoot rumor wasn’t happening.

      But, he did say that the set for Real Steel was still very much up and active as of Friday night. The boxing stuff was still all set up and he suspected they would still be there for a while, which lines up with what we heard from a local businessperson, that they would be there through the 27th.

      I haven’t heard anything for MGP, Harold & Kumar or The Double for Mon though, any ideas?

MGP was not filming at kercheval in dertroit…signs were there…but lot was a ghost town….reel steel was filming Friday…went down and watched for a few hours…take note..they do not allow pictures and make you stay across the street at cobo…walked around the block..can’t get close to the building at all!
    If anyone has any info on where MGP is filming this week..I sure would appreciate it!
