New photos from this week’s ‘Scream 4’ set in Michigan

Our original tipster, JJ, wasn’t kidding when she described this week’s Scream 4 location as being on “a low traffic dirt road in rural SE Michigan.” Below are a few shot from the set in which you can see a large barn with a sign for a “Stabathon” on it and a few of the ghosts around.

The set is located on Saline Waterworks Rd, just east of Steinbach Rd, between Saline and Manchester, Michigan. They are expected to be back at this same location tomorrow as well but, the general consensus seems to be that security is tight so keep that in mind if you dare to check it out.

  1. I live here in Manchester and not to many people even know the movie is being shot here. I drove by and took a few pictures yesterday, but the security was pretty tight.

  2. My son is an extra and came home with a slit throat. He says lots of sitting around and doing nothing – then an hour of filming – then lots more sitting around. Thanks for bringing jobs to Michigan.

  3. Any non-locals wanting to give it a try might want to take Austin, the paved road parallel to Saline Waterworks to the south, and then cut north on Parker rather than doing the whole distance from Saline on Waterworks. The road is currently in much better shape than it often is, but still rough on those not used to MI’s version of dirt road maintenance.

(we were relieved when the bloody fake knives appeared – the initial appearance of militia-looking guys and big crosses and black drapery, pre-scarecrow/mask, was a bit disturbing)

  4. It looked pretty creepy. I wouldn’t want to be there at night! Scarecrows and barns scare me. Also, what kind of town celebrates multiple murders like this?

  5. I live near the Detroit area and I was thinking of drving down to see the set. But I was hopeing someone could tell me if there’s a place I can actually stand and observe or will I get kicked out the second I get there? Because I’d hate to make the drive just to get kicked out in 1 minute….

    Thanks

  6. I work as a meter reader for DTE and this farm just happened to be on my route today. First time I’ve ever seen a security guard sitting in a chair next to a barn in the middle of nowhere!
