Gerard Butler Returns To Melvindale, MI for ‘Machine Gun Preacher’

On Monday, Gerard Butler returned to the Hearthside Mobile Home Park in Melvindale, MI to film another scene for his upcoming movie, Machine Gun Preacher.

The set was a stark contrast to last week’s shoot in which everything was still intact. On Monday, one of the trailers was on its side and debris had been thrown everywhere, as if a tornado had gone through the park.

You can check out a few pictures of Monday’s set below thanks to one of our readers, Gabrielle. Machine Gun Preacher continues filming in Michigan through next week before moving on to South Africa for the duration of the shoot.

    • Thanks James !:) I tried…initially, they didn’t let me use my camera, they said is high-tech but I managed to sneak few pictures:):)

      • Good for you for sneaking in some pictures! I would have done the same thing. 😛 When I went on the 12th, the security was actually pretty cool. We were allowed to watch right at the corner where the alley to the trailer park is and take some pictures. One of the security guys told me not to take pictures when I first arrived, but he left and never came back, so many of us watching took pictures and got away with it.
