Why are you shutting down the website?
Running the website, like any small business, comes with additional expenses, liabilities, technical issues, and other issues that I simply cannot afford anymore. I’m hoping that eliminating the website will still allow me to provide information to readers without all of the other stuff that has been weighing me down. I did not make this decision lightly and I am certainly more heartbroken than anyone but I have to do what is best for me moving forward.
I’m not on Twitter and I don’t want to be. How can I still get the daily filming locations?
Every day a Google Document with the day’s filming locations will be pinned at the top of Twitter.com/olv. You do not need a Twitter account to access this information. All you need to do is visit that link (and for a short time this URL will be redirected there as well) and click into the document at the top of the page. It will be just as easy as getting the info here!
Will the locations still be on a list each day?
Yes! As I mentioned above, most daily filming locations will still be listed together, just as they are on the website now, for easy access!
What if I’m looking for something from the archives?
Email me (olv@onlocationvacations.com)! I’ll still have access to all of the content on the website and will be more than happy to search for something for you!
Will you still post things other than the daily filming locations?
Yes! I already have some things in the works, including a ‘best of’ document with all of OLV’s most popular stories, a few more free giveaways, and links to other great resources!
