Filming locations for this weekend, July 31 & August 1, 2010, in NYC, Chicago, NOLA & more including ‘Transformers 3’ & ‘Friends With Benefits’

Here’s a list of what’s filming this weekend:

Filming in New York City & Vicinity:

•Friends with Benefits, starring Justin Timberlake, is filming a Flash Mob scene at Grand Central Terminal on Saturday.

•Premium Rush, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt is filming around35th-38th St and 6th Ave/Broadway/7th Ave on Saturday, July 31.

On Sunday, August 1, Premium Rush will be filming around 106th- 108th St and WestEnd/Amsterdam Ave.

Update: On Sunday, Premium Rush is also filming around 24th St between 8th and 9th Ave. (Thanks @juliusOC)

Update: Signs also spotted around 23rd and 7th for Premium Rush on Sunday.

•White Label is filming on 56th and 6th. (We’re pretty sure this is a commercial.) (Thanks Toma & Prissscillaa)

•Peace, Love & Misunderstanding is filming on Main St in Rosendale, NY. (Thanks Ben)

Update: •Signs and crew for Margin Call on Bowery and E 2nd in NYC on Saturday. (Re-shoots maybe? ) (Thanks @Multack)

Filming in Chicago:

•Transformers 3 is filming around 35 E. Wacker Drive and will close portions of Wabash and Wacker on July 31 and August 1.

Filming in New Orleans, GA:

•Green Lantern is filming at Poydras St and O’Keefe Ave in New Orleans through 8.5.

Filming in Chattanooga, TN:

•Water For Elephants, starring Robert Pattinson, is filming on West Cove Rd in Southern Walker County through 8.2. To discuss the filming with fellow fans, check out the comments in this thread. Update: Reportedly, filming wrapped on West Cove Rd on Friday but they are still in the Chattanooga area, follow this thread for updates.

Filming in Oakland, CA:

•Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt, is filming at the Coliseum in Oakland, CA (Saturday only).

Filming in Cleveland, OH:

•25 Hill is filming at the Baruth International Raceway in Cleveland ( Saturday only).

Filming in Los Angeles:

•The Undercover Launch Promo (new NBC series) is filming on Upper Grand Ave, 2nd St – 5th St on Saturday,  12:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M.

•USA Networks is filming something at 610 S Main St on Saturday, 6:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.

Update: •Horrible Bosses, starring Jennifer Aniston, is filming at Noble Elementary School in North Hills, CA on Saturday. (Thanks Nelly)

Filming in Shreveport, LA:

Update: •Catch .44, starring Bruce Willis, is filming at 7007 Hwy 3/Benton Rd. Benton, LA on Sunday night. (Thanks J)

  6. Arthur is filming in New York on Monday 2nd of August and Tuesday 3rd of August around Vanderbilt Ave and Madison Ave. Saw the signs put up by Warner Bros near Grand Central.

  7. White Label is the production company. The shoot is a print ad that they’re filming the shoot of. It is featuring a Dutch model who’s name no one seemed to know.

  16. Does anyone happen to know whether Sunday’s Premium Rush shoot is first unit and if Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be around? I saw the signs posted on 108th St between Amsterdam and Broadway today, but didn’t get a good look at what time they’re starting? Thanks! Love this website.

  18. It’s a movie about a German guy who comes to town, meets a lady and she shows him”her Brooklyn”. I looked it up on imdb. Sounds a bit lame. No one I know of is in it. Anyway. They are filming a block from my house. We never seem to get any good movies filming around here.

  19. The signs for Premium Rush on 108th between Amsterdam and Broadway have filming times 5am – 9pm on them, no idea if it’s the first or second unit though.

  20. Pass by the Transformers three set this evening after they stopped filming for the day. Pretty kewl set with burnt out cars and rubble. Sis past by earlier and actors were on set dressed as soldiers filming scene figured Shia LaBuf had to be one of the shorter soldiers wasn’t sure which one was Josh Demaul. Set is pretty much spread around and base camp is away from the set. Filming same spot tomorrow police are keeping traffic out and serurity is keeping eye on set.

  23. Premium Rush signs ALL over the city-I have never seen a movie with so many signs. Yet, I haven’t seen them filming at all-just cones blocking cars from parking

  26. Regarding Premium Rush: Dania Ramirez is filming today, so I would take that to mean that JGL is also filming. Could be wrong though. Good luck to those that try!!

    • I don’t sorry :/ I’ll keep an eye out though and see what I can find out. I run a JGL twitter ,so sometimes people give me info 🙂

I just took a walk around Broadway & 108th to see if I could spot JGL… tons of trailers, tents and camera equipment are around the area, but I couldn’t tell if they were on lunch break or if they had gotten rained out. Everything had plastic tarps over it, and the crew was just hanging out on the trucks.

  30. got this tip but not sure if it is move cars sun, film Mon, seem unusual they would film on a sun:
    Signs for “the good wife” seen on 7th ave between 18th and 17th streets. Filming tomorrow aug 1
