“Transformers 3” will continue filming on Van Buren Street in the Loop through Wednesday.
Traffic will be closed on Van Buren Street between South Wacker Drive and South Canal Street for filming at 433 W. Van Buren St. Two lanes will be open to traffic during rush hours from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The scene will include helicopters flying along the south branch of the Chicago River from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The fire and police departments will also supervised special effects, including simulated gunfire, smoke, fireballs and explosions.
Do you know if they will still be in chicago next week? how long will they be filming there?
I understand they will be in Chicago till the end of August. I saw some scenes, bring binoculars if you have them some you can’t get close to.
If you go just south of Jackson and Clinton, past the beggar’s pizza, they have all the vehicles on dipslay including Optimus.
Does anyone know where they will be next? My son is a huge transformers fan and we are trying to get there for him! We were there Monday night but they were filming inside the building! He would love to see the destroyed streets or the cars would be great!! Any information would be wonderful! Thanks!
does anyone know if they are still in chicago filming? as of tuesday the 10th? i will be in chicago the 11th but i have no idea where they are now.
